We just went to a local Irish pub to see the gallery show of a photographer friend of mine. There was a guy in jeans, Jack Purcells, button down oxford shirt and pink PRL sweater vest. He was quite well dressed, to be sure, but the funny part was him talking about his supporters club, the Hudson Street Hooligans. That's very cool in my book; I belong to a Crew supporters club myself. He just didn't fit the stereotype. It seems that as I get older, every day presents a new lesson about stereotypes and preconceived notions. It turns out they are almost always wrong. Right?
